Mechanical engineering resources

MotionGen.io – Design and animate mechanisms for robots, mechanisms and other mechanical systems that move with 2D and 3D visualizations. You can also create custom shapes and scenes to attach to mechanisms and finally export custom part geometries for 3D printing and laser-cutting.

I used MotionGen.io for my Folding 3D Printer Project

Inspired by Proper Printing's Folding Printer Project, I was impressed by their innovative folding mechanism. However, I envision a different design that offers greater security, ensuring better accuracy after folding and unfolding. My approach aims to reduce reliance on off-the-shelf components by incorporating more 3D-printed parts. MotionGen.io prototyping the foldable 3d printer.

Pomodoro Timer

Pomodoro is a time management method that uses a 25-minute timer to break a task into intervals with regular breaks in between.

After each pomodoro, take a 5-minute break. Repeat this sequence 4 times. After completing 4 pomodoros, take a longer break (15-30 minutes).
