This project arose out of necessity. I purchase a 2006 Ridgeline and did not check the frame near the rear. I get home and realize the rear subframe has completely failed due to rust. After many weeks of removing the rusting parts and rewelding a retrofitted subframe support, the truck was resurrected.
Except it wasn’t…The reason for its ultimate failure was that I blew the ECM and starter while welding and could not start the truck.
I sold it as scrap a year later.
