Hand-Carved Electric violin (2015 – 2016)

The real motivation came from how I played the violin in high school and wanted to be cooler than my classmates. I created template drawings formed from my “real” violin, dimensioned it for reference and took inspiration from the Stratocaster Guitar. I purchased two red oak boards and glue clamped them and began carving. I installed a piezo pickup and all its other features. After a year and a half, I successfully created and played my new violin at a church concert.
