Portable Vaccine/Medicine Refrigeration Unit – FRESHMAN DESIGN (Fall 2016)

I was the team lead in the development of this year-long project for Intro to Mechanical Engineering, MAE2024.

A portable and chargeable refrigerator was made to store vaccines for use specifically where such transport is limited. The main focus was to design a system for medical providers in developing countries. The project provided a basis for further investment and improvement which is the current plan.
